Anyone who has learned the techniques of Knowledge as taught by Maharaji who would like to volunteer for the following positions is welcome to apply.
There are now more options of volunteering to participate and help Maharaji in his work. You can find local opportunities that interest you and coincide with your skills, or you can participate in virtual projects. There is a new online virtual service hub that you can register for, locate participation opportunities that can be done from home, and collaborate with others virtually. TPRF VOLUNTEER - Montreal Rotary International Club Convention

Objective
|
Share TPRF information with the attendees of Rotary International Convention and other exhibitors. Collect and consign information on the attendees interested in potential collaboration with TPRF. The convention will be held in Montreal from June 19 to June 23, 2010.

Responsibilities
|
- Be an active part of a team of volunteers offering the RIC attendees information on the humanitarian work of TPRF.
- Share TPRF information with event attendees.
- Be up-to-date on the activities of TPRF, especially the Humanitarian Activities.
- Represent TPRF with established standards of excellence.
- Listen and respond appropriately to questions.
If you do not know an answer, ask your manager; do not assume.

Description
|
- Speaking confidently with professional and business people about the nature and scope of TPRF’s humanitarian work, sharing accurate information.
- Helping to forge links between TPRF, local / national Rotary Clubs and potential partner charities for future projects.
- Ensure that each person is treated respectfully and leaves the TPRF area satisfied and informed.
- Provide feedback and input on improvements.
- Assist with either set up or take down of TPRF's booth or both, — for those available before and after the event days.

Skills and Experience
|
- Passion for the humanitarian work of TPRF.
- Fully informed about TPRF — especially the Humanitarian activities — and about the aims and purpose of Rotary International.
- Willingness to learn, Integrity, Sincerity and Dedication.
- Ability to operate TV, DVD player and laptop — desirable, not essential.
- Able to listen to others and communicate with sensitivity and diplomacy.
- Understanding of and ability to work with a team.

Estimated Time Required
|
- Conference call trainings will be offered — attend 2 out of 3 — four weeks prior to event for training and update of materials.
- 1-hour pre-event meeting.
- 3 to 4 hour shifts from Sunday June 20, to Wednesday June 23 — attend two or more of these four days if possible.
- 1 hour for debrief after event, via conference call.
- 6 weeks leading up to the event to spend a short time each day:
- Study the Inspire articles, press releases and TPRF website in order to understand the depth of the wide ranging and rapidly expanding activities of the Foundation.
- Learn background information about Rotary International.

Additional Information
|
- Training will be provided for this, including briefings on the work of Rotary and on the aims of the exhibit.
- The Montreal Rotary International Convention will be held in Montreal from June 19 to June 23, 2010.
|

Duration
|
- Role: 8 weeks prior to and up to 1 week after event.
- Project: 10 months prior to and up to 1 week after event.
- Project end date: 1 week after event.

|
The role of the president is to assure that the new organization has a plan in place to manage local finances and activities in order to support and promote Prem Rawat’s work in the Montreal region.

Description

- Works closely with the director of Events and the Secretary-Treasurer and assure that they have the tools they need to do their job.
- Acts as local contact with organizations such as WOPG, INTELLA, TPRF and others that are recognized as official supporters of Maharaji’s work. This includes an event with Maharaji in Montreal.
- Informs the community of new developments regarding local events supporting Maharaji’s work, through the various communication mediums that are in place.
- Reports to the members of his team and the Montreal community.

- Use of "Montreal Info" electronic newsletter, bilingual teleconference calls and other communication tools necessary in short term: 3 to 4 weeks prior to possible event and ultimately all year long.
